Lisa shared insights into the importance of this new guide, the research behind its publication, and the many ways native plants contribute to healthy landscapes and support local wildlife. She also offered practical ideas for incorporating native plants into our own gardens. An ideal ratio is to have a 70% native/30% non-native balance in one's gardens.
We are grateful to Lisa and the team of professionals who collaborated on this valuable resource and shared their knowledge with us. A special thank-you to Antioch Church in Princess Anne for graciously hosting our program!
We’re looking forward to a wonderful season of learning, growing, and gardening together!
